Thank you so much for choosing Laura Baird Hairstylist! Your support means the world to me – because of you, I get to serve my incredible community doing the work I love. In the spirit of mutual respect, and to ensure every client has a smooth and personalized experience, I kindly ask that you review the following policies:
Respecting the Salon Space
To maintain a calm, professional environment for all guests and stylists, I kindly ask that you arrive alone to your appointment.
Running Late
Life happens – if you happen to be running behind, please let me know as soon as possible. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, I may need to adjust or reschedule your service. In the event of rescheduling, a late cancellation fee of $75+hst will apply and must be paid prior to rebooking.
Cancellation & Missed Appointments
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will be charged 50% of the scheduled service total to the card on file. This fee must be paid before booking any future services.
New Client Bookings
For colour transformation appointments, a complimentary consultation is required prior to booking. New clients may be asked to pay a $75 retainer fee to secure their spot. This amount will be applied toward the total service cost on the day of your visit. If the appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% of the remaining balance will be charged as a cancellation fee.
Adjustment Policy
My goal is always for you to leave feeling confident and in love with your hair. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please reach out within 5 business days so I can assess the situation and offer an adjustment if needed. Adjustments do not apply to a change-of-mind, and may include a charge to cover additional product costs. Services altered by you or another stylist after your visit will not be eligible for correction by Laura Baird Hairstylist.
Clothing & Personal Belongings
While I take every precaution necessary to protect your clothing and personal belongings, please be aware that your service provider is not responsible for items that may be stained or damaged by bleach or hair colour. Please consider wearing dark or older clothing for colour appointments.
Refunds
All services and sales are final. Laura Baird Hairstylist does not issue refunds.
